Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Susan J. Rose

Candidate for
Supervisor; County of Santa Barbara; Supervisorial District 2

This information is provided by the candidate

Dear Voter,

Santa Barbara County's 2nd District is truly the heart of the South Coast, spanning from downtown Santa Barbara through central Goleta. I've been privileged to be your Supervisor for nearly 4 years.

When elected I promised to promote our community's vibrant economy, preserve our special environment and protect our neighborhoods from congestion and pollution and to work diligently with our public safety organizations. I've honored these commitments, but much remains to be done.

I hope to continue representing you in our efforts to deal with new challenges, seeking common sense, regional solutions to the problems that affect us all. My priorities continue to be clean water and open beaches; managed growth for our communities, added affordable housing and improved quality of life for families and children. I remain firmly committed to providing to all 2nd District residents the energy, dedication and accessibility they deserve.

I have the leadership and ability from my thirty years as a businessperson, administrator, educator, parent, and now, the experience as your supervisor. Please re-elect me, Susan Rose, as your Supervisor.

Supervisor Susan Rose
