Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Lauren Weis

Candidate for
Judge of the Superior Court; County of Los Angeles; Office 53

This information is provided by the candidate

The judicial system is the foundation of our society. A judge must uphold and follow the law in an unbiased and equitable manner while assuring the constitutional rights of every citizen. Justice is achieved and must be administered in a way that balances the duty to protect society with individual constitutional rights. Throughout my career, I have understood the importance of access to justice for all peoples and will strive to further this goal.
