Steven Lubell has the judicial integrity, experience, background, temperament, reputation, general philosophy and work ethic to immediately assume the role of Superior Court Judge.

Steven Lubell as a Superior Court Commissioner has presided in high volume criminal and civil courtrooms hearing thousands of cases. Steven Lubell has had to make the tough decisions required of a Judge. Steven Lubell has demonstrated an ability to wield the power of a Judge skillfully so that the rule of law is not created haphazardly, or in an ivory tower, but by citizen judges like Steven Lubell who understand the human condition and the important issues in our lives.

Steven Lubell will be a public servant who will advance the cause of public safety while ensuring respect for the rights of all of the residents of Los Angeles County.
