I entered the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam and recieved an Honorable discharge from the service in 1971. I attended college and received a degree in Real Estate in 1976 and started a real estate company in Southeast Fresno. I co-founded California Leaders, a professional organization to help businesses grow by connecting them with other local businesses. I purchased Central California Schools, a vocational school for the economically disadvanaged students, training them for a job in Fresno.
