  • Shapazian is a Fresno native, graduate of Sanger High and Fresno State, with Bachelors of Science degree in Agri-Business.
  • After a tour of duty in Viet Nam with the U.S. Navy, Shapazian returned to Fresno as Grower Relations Manager for Sun Maid Raisin Growers in Kingsburg
  • Before embarking on his present career of Insurance and Real Estate Broker and Appraiser.

  • Provide fair, equal, and legal assessments
Chuck Brough 9050 votes 8.9%
  • Occupation: Chief Appraiser/Educator
  • Graduate of CSU, Fresno with Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Economics
  • Life-long Fresno County resident
  • Married 31 years to Karen Tanassy Brough
  • Father of John, Christine & Jessica
Priorities:
  • A property tax system fully-integrated with Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector
  • Promote a coalition of Assessors, Auditors, Tax Collectors, County Supervisors and County Taxpayers to obtain a higher % of taxes for local government
  • Increase the professionalism, responsiveness and cost effectiveness of the Assessor-Recorder staff
