Overcoming divisions on the Alameda County Board of Education
We need to continue to direct our scarce resources toward improving the education of our students.

Time wasted in divisive political spats diverts the energies of elected officials and staff/community resources.

My long years of experience and contacts at both the State Board of Educationa and the California State Legislature will directly benefit Alameda County public and community schools. 60% of the K-12 resources come from the state, 10% from Federal sources, and 23% from local property taxes (rest is lottery (2%) and miscellaneous funds (5%).

The community expects responsible, responsive representation not Board meetings wasted in futile petty politics of division and an attempt to squelch voices that have different points of view.

As a family counselor for over 17 years, I hope to heal the divisions on the Alameda County Board of Education.

I bring a fresh and new perspective to the Alameda County Board of Education, years of work in the field of education and representation both locally and state-wide. It is time for a change.
