Candidacy Statement / Qualifications
I believe I am the most qualified candidate to serve on the West Bay Board because I am a consumer advocate who is deeply committed to open and public government. I have demonstrated my heartfelt conviction that the District must never lose sight of its primary mission: to serve our consumers in an open, ethical, and cost-effective manner worthy of the public's trust.
Keeping the Public Trust / Customer Service
As a public agency, we are here to serve the public. Every interaction between all members of the West Bay Sanitary District and our paying customers should exemplify and demonstrate to the public the professional pride we all share in providing our services.
Scrutiny of Whether There Should Be a Raise Increase
There is perhaps no greater service and function of the Board than to scrutinize, analyze, and discuss the District's annual budget and financial stability. As President, I want to make sure the District Board take in all the necessary information and analyze it thoroughly before making a decision of raising the rates on our consumers.
