Position Papers
Meeting fiscal needs of our schools to include passage of Measure H.
Support an oversight committee to monitor Bond Measure H, a facilities improvement plan to renovate and modernize our 16 schools.
Continue literacy programs to improve student learning.
Maintain the language literacy success achieved during the past year and promote intensive Math Programs designed to achieve higher levels of proficiency.
Increase parent involvement and business partnership.
A new initiative, Community Asset Building, is needed to insure that all students receive support and achieve their full potential. Outreaching to all community members will create the environment quoted in the phrase, "It takes a village to raise a child".
