Trustee; Orange Unified School District; Area 5

I have been a resident in the Orange Unified School District area for over 35 years. I attended Orange Unified Schools in elementary, middle and high school. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. I worked as a Registered Nurse at Saddleback Community Hospital.

I have been married for 18 1/2 years. I have three children, all who attend Orange Unified schools. Since my oldest daughter entered Kindergarten, I have been very involved with the schools and the school district. I am an active member of the PTA at the unit, council and district levels. I am the president of Santiago PTSA and past president of Chapman Hills PTA. I am on the board of the Orange Community Council PTA and the 4th District PTA. I am also a board member of the South Sunrise Little League. I am a graduate of the Orange Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Orange class of 2001 and I serve on the planning committee for the Orange Chamber of Commerce, Junior Leadership Orange. I am a member of the planning committee with The Irvine Company regarding the future development of the East Orange area.
