Elizabeth McCarthy is a child welfare attorney and also the former city attorney for the city of Dunsmuir, located on the upper Sacramento River.

An attorney for many years, Elizabeth has distinguished herself by her effectiveness with collaborative approaches to problem-solving. Through her work with children and families, as well as the diverse members of a small town, she has demonstrated that the greatest service is to support individuals to come together and contribute in a positive and meaningful way.

Elizabeth's husband, Marko Castor, is a residential building contractor. They enjoy the creative arts and the out of doors.
