  • Both my children graduated from Piner High School.
  • I taught English at Santa Rosa Junior College for 35 years, 8th grade to college freshmen.
  • I taught high school in San Francisco for four years full time and for one year as a day to day sub.
  • I have been a day to day sub. in the Santa Rosa High schools 16 times as of this date.
  • I retired from regular teaching at the end of my 75th year.

  • The Students - what's happening on the actual campuses of the Santa Rosa high schools.
  • The teachers - how are they actually teaching and what is their relationship with their students.
  • The administration - how effective are they at maintaining good student discipline and a positive campus learning atmosphere.
