Candidate for
Director; Petaluma Health Care District

This information is provided by the candidate

My life has been dedicated to service in many forms. Now that I am retired, I continue to serve as a volunteer, on the Health Care District Board, as a volunteer at McKinley School, on the Hospice Advisory Board and as president of an historical association. I'm currently even helping coach an under 12 soccer team, a job that keeps this 65 year-old busy!

I am a son of a doctor who served in the Air Force during World War II. I graduated from West Point and served in the Army until I completed my service as the commander of the Presidio in San Francisco, which included support for a major Army general hospital.

In civilian life, I helped to manage the Fine Arts Museums in San Francisco, which is both a County agency and a non-profit. This experience and a Master of Business Administration degree have helped me to contribute to decisions managing the Healthcare District.
