San Mateo County, CA November 7, 2000 Election
Smart Voter

Believers follow through and support one another after the vote.

By Sue Digre

Candidate for Council Member; City of Pacifica

This information is provided by the candidate
Keeping Pacifica Scenic is not easy. We most forge a strong alliance that is ever vigilant, ever ready to offer support
Getting the vote out is extremely important. Start with voter registration and talking about the election and the issues. "The word is mightier than the sword." Your voice among your friends, co-workers, neighbors, families is respected. Respect is powerful.

Offer to get voter registration forms from the library or post office. Encourage the youth and the seniors. Offer to drive folks to the polls. Have a block party after everyone votes. Party up--voting is a precious freedom. Differences of opinion are welcome. One size does not fit all. Competition is healthy.

And tomorrow and tomorrow be there for one another to preserve and protect "Scenic Pacifica".

Thank you again.
