Bill Trask is a parent and taxpayer just like you. Bill has been married to his wife Vicky for over 23 years. Bill and Vicky have 3 children ages 18, 16, and 12. The oldest, Simon, graduated from Mt. Miguel High School in 1999 and now works at a mechanical engineering firm while attending college. Hannah is a junior at Helix High School and Leah, who is in 8th grade, looks forward to entering the Grossmont District. Bill and Vicky both graduated from Mt. Miguel High School and have spent most of their lives in the Grossmont District.

Bill received an A.A. degree from Grossmont College and a B.A. from Biola University. After college Bill worked in the printing industry and operated a commercial printing company within the Grossmont District for 15 years. He's proud to have employed a number of District students and graduates during that time. In 1994 Bill received his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law (previously Western State University College of Law) and has worked in the mortgage banking business since 1995 where he now serves as vice president of Dollar Mortgage Corporation, a nationwide mortgage lender.

While employed in the printing industry, Bill served as a director, officer and chairman of the Printing Industries Association of San Diego. In 1990, Bill was presented with the Ben Franklin Award for his outstanding contribution to the San Diego printing industry. Bill also served as a director of the Printing Industries of California, the statewide trade association for printers in California. In that capacity, he was active in monitoring state legislative activity and lobbying on behalf of small business in California. Bill has also been active in several east county chambers of commerce, served as a member of a school site council, and regularly volunteered time in the classroom. He also volunteered in a local literacy program serving both youth and adults in San Diego county. Bill has been active as a church leader during most of his adult life and attends church regularly with his family.
