As a concerned citizen and an active community leader, a 35 year resident of the Grant District, a retired federal government employee, and a former Grant District employee, I am uniquely qualified to serve on the Grant Board of Trustees.
I graduated from Central High School in Mobile, Alabama. I also attended both Spaulding and 20th Century Business Colleges in Mobile, Alabama. I have been married forty-two years. We have two sons, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildern. Both of our sons and most of my grandchildren attended school within the Grant Disrtict. I served six years in the United States Marine Corps from which I received an Honorable discharge. My wife who is a graduate of Alabama State Teachers College of Montgomenry, Alabama has worked in the Grant District for over thirty years as an Educator.

Since my arrival in California in 1965 I have earned the following Degrees and Credentials:
1. Associate of Arts in Social Science from American River College
2. Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University of Sacramento
3. Master of Science in School Counseling form the University of LaVerne
4. Completed graduate courses in Education through University of California at Davis and California State University of Sacramento
5. I have a Community College Counselors Credentiial
6. I have a community College Teaching Credential in Psychology
7. I have also a Pupil Personnel Services Credential

This rare combination of education, experience and dedication make me the best qualified candidate for this position.
