Children in Natomas deserve more. We all deserve more.

The Natomas School District is among the LAST in the entire State of California to fully implement Class-Size Reduction. Not only has this deprived our kids of valuable one-on-one time with their teachers, but also it has deprived our district of nearly a MILLION DOLLARS in State funding.

Our school board spends their time debating "bottom line" issues like eliminating bus service for small children and putting cell phone towers up at the high school. They are neglecting the real "bottom line." Our kids deserve more.

I have served Natomas on the Natomas Community Association, PTSA, and Natomas Community Planning Advisory Council. I have talked with teachers, I work with parents, I meet with community leaders, and I know we can do better.

It's time for a fresh vision for our schools. We need leadership to get us to the next level. Natomas schools can be first-rate, but only if we elect a new School Board that will provide results.

My desire is for Natomas to be a GREAT community. One where the schools are strong. Where every child receives a first-rate education. Where every community member can be proud of our schools. We can do it!
