Plan Ahead for Growth

The population within the Elk Grove CSD boundaries has been expanding by leaps and bounds. Unfortunately, foresight has not been a strongpoint for the CSD. Not only has the shortage of sports parks been an inconvenience to many, but even more serious is the slow expansion of our fire and emergency medical services. We must stay ahead of growth to avoid putting our lives and homes at risk.

Increase the Availability of the More Popular Programs

Kids should not suffer because of poor planning, yet some programs fill up so fast many kids never even have a chance to register. These programs are not difficult to identify--just look for the long waiting lists. We must expand our programs to accommodate our rapidly growing community.

Support Our Fire Department

The Elk Grove Fire Department is widely recognized as one of the best in the nation. Yet our firefighters are often overburdened by the slow expansion of our fire department. They are also undervalued by our current administration, which has failed to stay competitive with the rest of the region. We must build more firestations and attract and retain the best firefighters around.
