I am a candidate because I believe we should put patients' health first! We must end confrontation between the District Board and Marin General Hospital. The Board must get back to improving healthcare.

The healthcare needs of this community are diverse and complex. It is the duty of the Healthcare District Board to ensure healthcare resources are available to the entire community. What I want you to understand today is that, despite any shortcomings that may be present at Marin General Hospital, Sutter Health or in the current lease agreement, we have a hospital that is operating in the black. We have an affiliation with an organization that is financially viable and can provide the required funds to meet costly seismic upgrades without putting taxpayers at risk. We have a new CEO at the hospital who is committed to a productive working relationship with the District.

Please vote for Marin Healthcare Leadership - Meador, Hassin and Ley. Elected together we will reform the District Board to provide both leadership and a sound business plan. It is time for a change!!
