Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Robert J. "Rob" Ross

Candidate for
Member of the City Council; City of Santa Monica

This information is provided by the candidate

Dear Neighbor:

I am running for Santa Monica City Council and I would very much like to have your support.

It is time to focus our city government on the issues where we can and must make a difference. We must improve our schools, keep our ocean, beaches and parks safe and clean; improve access to important city services for our seniors and to those in need, and strengthen and rebuild our critical infrastructure.

We must allocate the resources necessary to guarantee the safety of our loved ones and fellow citizens. We must act affirmatively to improve the response time of our critical emergency services -- such as police, fire and paramedics -- wherever possible.

I believe my experience as a prosecutor, university professor, and successful businessperson can help our city better deal with the many complex problems we face.

It is time for Santa Monica to be one city again. I will work tirelessly to rebuild consensus within our community so that together, we can build a brighter, more secure future for our city.

If you believe, as I do, that Santa Monica is truly great city that has yet to realize its tremendous potential, I would welcome your help in this important campaign.

Sincerely, Rob Ross
