Candidate for Central Basin Municipal Water District-Div.5

By Sarann Graham

Candidate for Member, Board of Directors; Central Basin Municipal Water District; Division 5

This information is provided by the candidate
Local control and accountability as well as reduction of abusive spending of tax payers dollars by many of the board members needs to be a priority.
For more than 35 years I have worked in both the private and public sector and dedicated 6 years as a city council member and 8 years as an elected city mayor. Being employed for 5 years in the water industry gives me a strong background on many of the statewide and loccal water issues and concerns.

I am supportive of conservation programs and working closely with the local city water departments, private water company & investor owned water companies to provide quality service to the residents

I believe the time has come to have a indepth study done on what the impact, if any, would be by combining the West Basin/Central Basin MWD into one agency or even evaluating the elimination of these districts. I am very supportive of having this evaluation done with extensive input from the private & investor owned comapnies as well as the city water agencies.

Being elected to this position would be a privledge to serve the citizens and I would work deligiently to make this a more responsive agency.
