Keeping water agency our own

By Mark Baldwin

Candidate for Member, Board of Directors; Castaic Lake Water Agency; Division 2

This information is provided by the candidate
Holding new developers accountable and not make us suffer any more than we already have.
Since moving to Santa Clarita in 1989 I have seen an increase in building of homes resulting in congested traffic, more and more difficulty in parents getting their children in the school of their choice, and a questionable future of how much longer we can coll our home community a safe one. WE HAVE SUFFERED ENOUGH!
Why is it that our division covering Newhall and parts of Valencia which has less growth than other parts of Santa Clarita should have to be held accountable for the population expansion for the rest of the city and Stevenson Ranch?(should they decide to become part of our city now that they have grown according to THEIR terms) If elected, I will do everything in my power not to allow Castaic Lake Water Agency not to conduct any expansion of water supply to any new project if in any way it will increase taxes to us on our behalf, or affect the amount of water our region will recieve in any way. I will see to it that the people who want to do business with us pick up the tab and not affect our fair share.
So on November 7th, vote for Mark Baldwin.
