Let us begin with our children.While campainging I talked with several parents who have mentally and physically challenged children. They stated Bakersfield was the closest place in Kern County for their children to join special activities such as the special olympics. I have a friend in Palmdale who has worked in this area. I am trying to see if we can get a special olympics committe or even organize special activities for our special childen here in California City. |
