Candidate for
Council Member; City of Arcata

For the past 21 years, I have lived and worked in Arcata. For most of that period of time I have dedicated myself to my fellow citizens by serving on numerous boards and commisisions and volunteering and fund-raising for a dozen-odd non-profit organizations.
I am out-spoken in my support for local businesses and my partners and I are the largest employers in Blue Lake. A sutainable, environmentally-friendly economy has been my focus for over a dozen years and I have diligently worked for it's creation and maintainence during my two terms on the council.
Housing is also very important to me - with affordability for all Arcatans as my main goal, I have enjoyed the support of my fellow councilmembers in my endeavors to create housing ownership for lower income level citizens.
Arcata is in the forefront of enlightened planning and environmental protection.
My wife and I raised two kids and are now grandparents. I look forward to serving on the council for four more years - with your vote and support!
