Connie Miller, Eureka City Councilmember

Eureka is a city with unbounded potential. I have lived here for over thirty years and have helped my husband run a successful business. Our children were born and raised here. In my two and a half years on the Council I have learned how the city works, the issues we face and have built important relationships with the city's staff and its citizens. My allegiance is to all the citizens of the City of Eureka.

I have three main priorities:

  • Job Creation

It is important to build on current economic strengths while attracting 21st Century businesses.

  • Livability

A wonderful place to live is first of all a safe place to live. Safe and secure streets in ALL our eighborhoods are essential. We must protect and promote the beautiful quality of life unique to our city.

  • Increased Communication

Open government and open meetings are essential. I will continue to listen and seek out those with thoughtful, responsible positions on both sides of issues. The Council must work toward increasing our knowledge of professional ways to manage the city, our employees and ourselves.

Please vote for me November 7th for the Eureka City Council representing the 4th Ward. I bring proven leadership and forward think
