As Board President I insured the superintendent selection process continued successfully despite controversy.

As President I appointed Dan Whitehurst and Alan Autry to participate in the Superintendent search process, thereby establishing a strong connection between the school district and city government.

As a high school teacher in Selma 11 years, I have taught students of all skill levels and students representing all the ethnic and cultural diversity the Central Valley offers.

Coached for 14 seasons and currently Athletic Director.

I understand and support parental interests, having two daughters in the district.
