Board Member; Coalinga Regional Medical Center

I will insure that appropriate accounting controls are in place. We need to review our audits and improve on the financial performance of each department. When we enter into new contracts, we need to review the conditions and monitor and access the performance of our new venders.

We need to improve the relationship between the hospital and the community. We need to educate the public on what services are provided. We need to have an active wellness committee that will go out into the community. The Coalinga Regional Medical Center cannot provide all of the medical services you may require.

We need to develope a plan of action for the disposal sale donation of the hospital it is unsafe. This is not going to be easy or it would have allready been done. One idea would be to contact our District 30 State Assemblyman and ask for help in getting funding for the disposal of the old hospital.
