Community

To maintain and expand the pleasant Reedley lifestyle. To preserve Reedley's small town ideals and values. To improve Reedley's older neighborhoods. To enhance opportunities for all Reedley residents.

Economic Development

To develop an agressive program to attract new businesses and industries to locate in Reedley while continuing to support and expand existing businesses. To condinue the development and expansion of Reedley/s Industrial Park. To attract quality retail stores, which compliment our downtown shops, to provide residents with a better selection of goods and services. To expand the city's revenue base in order to provide better quality city programs and services to all residents.

Responsive Government

To ensure that city government is responsive to resident's needs. To encourage a supportive, friendly and cooperative atmosphere at City Hall. To better inform the public of probrams designed to benefit them.

Recreation

To expand recreational opportunities for youth and adults in our city. To improve and expand Reedley's parks and open space areas. To continue the development of the Reedley Community Parkway and connecting paths and bikeways.

Planning

To encourage long range planning for the future needs of the City of Reedley. To plan for the mod-ernization and orderly expansion of city sewer, water and disposal ser-vices. To provide for quality growth while conserving farmland.

Fiscal Policy

To ensure that all city programs are cost effective and provide maximum value for the taxpayers' money. To aggressively pursue all available sources of funding, including grant funds, to finance city improvements.
