Board Member; Clovis Unified School District; Trustee Area 2

My professional career in education has spanned 30 years and my degree preparation includes a BA and MA in English Literature and a Doctorate in Education. During my 30 year career, I have worked in administration, taught English at the Community College level, taught four years in the Chicago Public School System and spent the past 10 years in higher education. During my time in higher education, I have published a number of papers and textbook chapters. I currently teach both graduate and undergraduate courses at California State University, Fresno and work with the Fresno County Sheriff's Department Youth Services Bureau in an attempt to further the Sheriff's Department proactive programs in helping the youth of Fresno County. My educational background and experiences qualify me to serve on a school board.
