Establishing Trust in City Government

By Jerry Richard Oldenkamp

Candidate for Councilmember; City of South Lake Tahoe

This information is provided by the candidate
My #1 goal for the next 4 years is to re-establish a measure of trust in the Council. Far too many mistakes, petty bickering, and questionable practices have happened, and I will work very hard to correct this pattern.
As your newly-elected Councilmember, I will work to establish 8 year term limits for Councilmembers, change the format of each public meeting to include regular City financial disclosure, and to seperate the City Council members from the Redevelopment Agency membership. There are many qualified, willing citizens that can serve on this Agency.

I am not endorsed by any special interest, and I will not be influenced by any special interest.
