This information is provided by the candidate

Gunnar Henrioulle has been a outspoken advocate of Tahoe regional transportation improvements for over 25 years, including seamless intermodal connections to Truckee, Reno, and northern California cities. For many years a renewable energy (solar, geotherhermal, biomass) promotor. World regional, local events all ask your careful examination of these three specific priorities of Henrioulle's candidacy:

1. Lake Tahoe Ferryboat Shuttle Service. Big, Fast Scheduled Service North, South, East And West On Lake Tahoe. Using two modern vessels, sufficiently large to dovetail with Amtrack service on Tahoe City-Truckee corridor, light rail connections at South Shore.

2. Creation Of Airport District Focused at South Lake Tahoe Airport (TVL). Airport Plant Modernization, including Arrival And Departure Radar, And Terminal Upgrades. 50-mile surface radius road, rail, and waterborne linkage, including Truckee, Carson Valley, and Placerville, an all-weather aviation asset operated with public/private partnerships, enabling legislation.

3. Active Lobbying & Conssensus Building For Design And Construction Of A Combination Rail/Highway Tunnel Under Echo Summit, A 5-Mile Crossing at 6150-6350' Elevation. Inclusion of tunnel as key component in electric rail line to Sacramento-Snan Francisco. Electric power for rail line to be derived from solar, geothermanl, and biomass (from forest thinning) facilities dedicated for transport. Tunnel operated as a highway toll facility, directional according to marketing/traffic flow requirements.

Taken together, these are the world-class transportation/energy goals of this candidacy. "Secchi deal".
