Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Concord

This information is provided by the candidate
Bill Clinton dosn't allow Walmarts to pop up in your back yard, city councils do.
City council elections rarely get any attention. That's especially true when there's a presidential race, but the President doesn't have any power over individual neighborhoods. Mayors and city councils are often the ones approving road construction, building renovation, and shopping center expansion.
Only the most informed voters see this website. Voter turnout at the last city election was 22%. Passing this information on will give residents a stronger voice.
