Who I Am

By Paul J. Nave

Candidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 6

This information is provided by the candidate
My deep roots with the 6th District
My family settled here in the Sixth District five generations ago and developed such local landmarks as the Nave Shopping Center and Nave Bowling Lanes.

I graduated from public school here, San Rafael High, and attended San Francisco State.

Thirteen years ago, my daughter Racquel was born here at Marin General.

I founded a very successful business here in the district, Nave's Limousine Service.

I began my successful quest for a world boxing title in a San Rafael garage and trained for the championship bout at a Rohnert Park gym.

My father Richard served on the San Rafael City Council here and my mother Dolly worked tirelessly for our local public schools and to restore our local public parks.

And it is here that I have continued my family's tradition of community service, as a school activist constantly working to turn my own mistakes to the benefit of local kids, as a boardmember for the Marin City Boxing Club, as a motivational speaker and fundraiser, and now as a candidate for the State Assembly.
