Hal "Brent" Meyers was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 21, 1942. He moved to California in the early 1950's and has lived in the state ever since. He has lived in Lancaster for the past nineteen years and will be moving to Acton in the near future.

Christian
Five children - Tracie, Greg, Shauna, Stefani and Troy.
Four Grand Children and one on the way - Travis, Tyler, Brittainy, Megan and we'll know soon.

EDUCATION
Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University
Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) from Pepperdine University
Graduate of James Monroe High School in the San Fernando Valley

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Owner of Meyers Financial and Accounting Services, a company specializing in affordable Income Tax Preparation for Senior Citizens in the Antelope and San Fernando Valleys.

Prior to starting Meyers Financial and Accounting Services Meyers worked for a major Aerospace Firm in the San Fernando Valley. During his twenty-nine years of service with the Company his duties included Manager of Cost Estimating and Pricing, Cost and Price Analyst and Company Government Liaison and Financial Manager:

As Manager of Cost Estimating and Pricing he was responsible for company oversight and compliance with all Federal Procurement and Contracting Laws and Regulations.

He directed the preparation, pricing and submittal of all Company Proposals to the United States Government, Foreign Governments and Government Defense Contractors.

He supported and participated in Company Contract Negotiations.

He developed and negotiated the annual budget and did not spend more than the budget.

As Cost and Price Analyst it was his responsibility to ensure that all suppliers were in compliance with Federal Regulations and that the United States Government did not overpay for hardware.

As Company Government Liaison and Financial Manager it was his responsibility to ensure that the Company was in compliance with all Federal Laws and Regulations; Resolve compliance issues with the Defense Contract Administration Services (DCAS), the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA); Developed and negotiate Company Government Approved Contract Rates to ensure the United States did not overpay for the Defense Systems and Hardware they bought.
