Women's Issues

By Saundra Duffy

Candidate for United States Representative; District 13

Exploiting women for fun, profit and votes
All issues are women's issues. Anything less is thoroughly insulting. The politicians seem to think we're nothing but a vast sea of vaginas, breasts and ovaries who vote.

Regarding abortion - If men and women would accept responsibility for their own bodies and behavior, there would be no need for abortion. Be that as it may, abortion is nevertheless big business. The clinics which treat women like cattle are a disgrace; they are dangerous; and they rob us of our dignity. Partial birth, late term abortions are cruel and barbaric. If someone tried to kill a rabid dog that way, the animal rights activists would stage a riot. Young girls need parental support when faced with an unwanted pregnancy. Stop exploiting women and talking down to us. Pro choice my butt. If women really had a choice, we'd choose life for our babies.

Regarding guns - I am pro choice on the gun issue. Remember Yosemite! Four women brutalized, terrorized, murdered and torched (one was beheaded!). Women need guns for protection. What is the rapist's worst nightmare? A woman with a gun! Don't insult my intelligence by saying I should protect myself with pepper spray and mace, or that I should shut up and submit. Get a brain. This is about freedom. This is about the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. This is about life and death. Women and men are equally concerned about this.

I am sick and tired of the Democrat Party exploiting guns and abortion - like that's all women care about. It's insulting!
