Making a Difference

Iris Adam is focused on proven solutions. Government should be based on what works, not on what is politically expedient or bought and paid for by special interest groups. She stands for government in accord with natural law: preventative health care, renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. She supports proven educational initiatives that promote higher national education standards and the practical means to achieve them.

Public Policy

Iris Adam supports the mandate to label genetically engineered foods and a moratorium on all commercial plantings of transgenic crops until these foods have been rigorously tested for safety over time and the ecological impact of such organisms is established. Genetic engineering alters the DNA of our foods by combining the genes of completely unrelated organisms, and uses substances that have never been part of the human food supply.
