Mr. Chris Clark grew up in the South Sacramento Meadowview area. He has attended the local area schools and graduated from college with a major in Business Administration. He served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sgt. He is married, with four beautiful daughters who attend local area public schools.

Chris has worked for Raley's Superstore on Mack Road for eight years and is currently employed with the City of Stockton, Parks & Recreation Department, overseeing 32 employees, responsible for budget, programming, proposed expenditures, for seven middle schools and five community centers as well as other citywide events.

Chris Clark has been very involved in the community. He has served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the South Sacramento Community Planning Advisory Council, this was a four year term. He is currently Vice-President of the South Sacra- mento County Neighborhood Accountability Board, and is very involved in the Meadowview area serving as Vice-Chair of the Greater Meadowview Area Coalition, and, is a member of the Regional Coalition of Shots for Tots. He serves as Area 4 Representative of the Citizens Advisory Council for the City of Sacramento, Parks and Recreation. He is active in the Valley Hi-Laguna Creek areas by serving in numerous community events and is currently Community Service Chair and President-elect of the Valley Hi Laguna Creek Rotary Club.

As a father, he would like to see many more youth programs. Especially programs for disadvantaged youth in our area. He would like to see a Community Center that would service the Valley Hi-Laguna Creek areas. He seeks a solid joint use agreement with Sacramento Unified and Elk Grove School Districts to utilize the schools with a wide range of community services and classes.

Chris would like to focus on bringing quality jobs and more job training for our adults in the district. He is very concerned with the number of jobs available to the area and is committed to bringing higher paying jobs and quality businesses to South Sacramento. Of course, public health and safety will always be the first priority.
