This information is provided by the candidate

I moved to Santa Rosa from Boston, MA in 1948. Upon graduation from Santa Rosa High School, I became the first 18-year old accepted into the Women's Army Corp from the 6th Army Area which includes the six western states. I have a legal background in Family Law and also served as a Division Secretary for the Department of Corrections until I retired.

I was blessed with three sons who honored me with five grandchildren and during their school years, I became actively involved and served in various positions with the PTA Board, Little League Board, Cub Scouts, Ron Chapman Football Program, Annual VFW Memorial Day Parade and other civic, athletic and parent groups.

I became active in the Republican Party in 1991 with B. T. Collin's campaign. I have remained extremely active, working on many campaigns with the most recent being those of Dave Cox for the 5th Assembly District, Roger Niello for the 4th Supervisorial District, and Anthony Pescetti for the 10th Assembly District in which I served as Deputy Campaign Manager.

I have worked extensively as the Volunteer Coordinator for the County Party as well as organizing such events as a Candidates' Forum and several fundraisers for other volunteer organizations and was honored as the "Volunteer of the Year" by the Sacramento County Republican Central Committee.
