For Member of City Council; City of Hayward

Born in California and raised in the City of Hayward. Attended All Saints Grammar School through 6th grade. Transferred to St. Mary's Grammar/High School, Berkeley, Ca. through Freshman year. Attended the Christian Brother Novitiate, Mt. La Salle, Napa, Sophmore year returning to Hayward High Junior & Senior years.

Enlisted in the US Army Feb. 14, 1969. Served 3 years in a covert Army Intelligence unit, Berlin, Germany. Awarded the Army Commendation Medal.

Attended Cal. State Hayward on the GI Bill. majoring in Economics. Wrestled on the Cal. State wrestling team.

Became an Oakland police officer, 1976. Was one of 5 persons contracted to perform the Quality Assurance part of the, then, new Smog Check Program for the entire northern California area, 1984. Became a State of California Smog Referee 1990.
