Full Biography for Clara R. Pugh

Candidate for
Council Member; City of Forest Park

Clara Pugh is currently employed at Cincinnati Union Bethel's Terrace Guild office as Director of Family Support services. She has been with the agency for three (3) years. While directing the activities of Emergency Assistance and Job Readiness programs, she also has been involved in the community where she works, in Winton Hills, as Vice Chairperson, in conjunction with "Keep Cincinnati Beautiful" (City of Cincinnati) cleanup for two (2) years. In addition, she has twenty-nine (29) years' experience as an executive and administrator of Human Services agencies and programs. Her background includes directing social service programs funded by United Way/Community Chest, AFL-CIO Labor Union, federal and state funded projects, and Executive Director of Community Action Agency.

Clara has served on various professional and volunteer boards and commissions, which include the former Hamilton County Human Services Advisory Board, Founding Member of the Greater Cincinnati Tenants United and Advocates for Women's Housing Boards, and the National association of Community Action Agencies. She has three (3) children and six (6) grandchildren
