Other: Rolph (Fairhaven) School Board, 1952 - 1960; helped organize the Fairhaven Fire Department in 1956 and have been a volunteer since then; member and past Council Member of the Lutheran Church of Arcata; member since 1955 of Sons of Norway; member of Humboldt Lodge #79 F. & A. M. Masonic Lodge since 1955; member of Scottish Rite since 1956; Shrine member since 1956.
