I majored in accounting and business in college. I have had a varied work background. I worked as a paralegal, office manager and recruiter for a large law firm that specialized in corporate acquisitions, mergers and tax matters, prepared budgets and forecasted plant production for a large chemical company, was an Administrative Assistant for the holding company of one of the largest mutual fund managers in the U.S., investing 12 companies' daily cash flow ($1 to $12 million a day). I am the owner of North Coast Business Services which prepares reports, flyers, transcription and performs other business services. I am also a licensed Realtor specializing in resale homes.

I am a charter member and currently Vice President of Soroptimist International of McKinleyville. Soroptimist International of McKinleyville has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a high school student, honors a student of the month, awarded $1,000 to a woman re-entering the workplace, donated trees to MCSD for beautification of Central Avenue and numerous other deeds. We are trying to develop a shoe program with sports groups so that more children can have shoes for sports activities. This is in cooperation with MCSD.
