Commissioners have dual roles serving the common interests of all Districts, as well as the constituents they represent in their individual Districts, and must treat each fairly and equally.

Development of Humboldt Bay, marine terminal and rail service will attract industries to our area and create good jobs. Projects in the Fifth District enhance the quality of life and create and preserve jobs in the Fifth District.
