Alternative revenue sources
How much is too much? The tax code of the United States is an uncomprehensable mess; our own California tax system is just as bad. The heavy handed manner in which our government (state and federal) collects revenue is despicable, ruining peoples lives and in some cases pushing citizens to suicide. We should explore other options to the current tax system. Abolish the IRS and either have a flat tax or a national sales tax. Cut government programs and streamline all necessary spending to free up funds from the bureaucratic black hole that swallows massive amounts of money. Look into privatizing social security through individual investment plans.
